Belt cleaning
roller.

Bristle-armed rotating roller used in the cleaning stage of a conveyor line. Splined gear-end drives the assembly; staggered bristle rows sweep the product as it rolls through.

Plastic
gears.

Drive gear off a production line — original cracked through the hub. Re-modelled in CAD with the original tooth profile and reinforced web; printed in PLA. We've since printed many variations of plastic gears across machines and modules — same workflow each time: measure, model, print, fit.

Transport-line
brackets.

Original moulded-plastic brackets snapped under cyclic load on the conveyor's retention rail. Re-modelled in CAD with thicker corner radii and reinforced retention hooks; remade in PETG. Drop-in replacement on the existing rail — no fixture changes.

Outdoor electronics
housing.

Sealed enclosure for an outdoor monitoring PCB. Engineered from scratch: ASA for UV stability, louvred sidewall for natural convection, snap-locking lid that survives field service, and internal bosses positioned for the client's board. Branded directly on the lid as part of the same print job.

Articulated
modular arm.

Articulated multi-joint arm assembly with modular link sections — every segment is interchangeable, joint positions are tooled for repeat re-clocking, and the end-effector mount is the same footprint across the family. Designed for benchtop fixturing and small automation cells where geometry needs to keep evolving.

Nail the functional target, load cases, mating parts, and hard dimensional constraints before touching CAD.

CAD modelling
Parametric part model with reference geometry, features and relations so revisions stay fast and clean.
03 · Slice
Slice & orient
Chose orientation for strength along the load path; tune walls, infill and seam placement.
04 · Print
Bambu X1C
PLA / PETG / ASA depending on thermal and UV exposure. Chamber temp managed for warp-prone prints.
05 · Verify
Fit, test, iterate
Calipered check, dry-fit, then field use. Learnings feed v2, most parts shown are revision two.
