This site uses one Google Ads cookie for conversion measurement — and only after you accept the cookie banner. This page lists exactly what is loaded.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit. They are used for a variety of purposes — from keeping you logged in, to remembering your preferences, to tracking your behaviour for advertising.
Browser local storage, session storage, and pixels are similar technologies that can achieve similar purposes and are covered by this policy.
2. Cookies This Website Uses
This website is designed to be minimal in its data collection. The table below lists all cookies and similar technologies in use:
| Name / Service | Type | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pf_cookies_consent | localStorage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner so it does not reappear. | 365 days | First-party |
| pf_lang | localStorage | Remembers your language preference (EN / BG). | Until cleared | First-party |
| pf-theme | localStorage | Remembers your light / dark theme preference. | Until cleared | First-party |
| _gcl_au | HTTP cookie | Google Ads conversion attribution. Set only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. | 90 days | Third-party · Google |
Web fonts on this site (Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono, Inter) are self-hosted from our own server, so no third-party cookies are set or third-party requests made for typography. See our Privacy Policy Section 3 for details.
What We Do Not Use
Apart from the Google Ads conversion cookie listed above, this website does not use:
- Google Analytics or any other analytics platform
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking
- Retargeting, remarketing, or personalised-ad audiences
- Session recording tools (e.g. Hotjar, FullStory)
- A/B testing tools
- Chat widgets
- Embedded YouTube or Vimeo players
- Any form of fingerprinting
3. Legal Basis for Cookies
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR:
- Strictly necessary storage (the consent banner's
pf_cookies_consent, language preferencepf_lang, theme preferencepf-theme) can be used without consent. These are all first-party browser storage entries with no analytics or tracking purpose. - Advertising cookies (Google Ads
_gcl_au) require informed prior consent. The cookie banner on this site implements Google Consent Mode v2 with all advertising consent denied by default. The Google Ads cookie is set only after you click "Accept" on the banner.
You can revisit or withdraw your decision at any time — the banner will reappear and you can change your choice.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can manage, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers:
Please note that blocking all cookies and browser storage may affect functionality on some websites. On this site, your language and theme preferences will not persist between visits if all storage is blocked.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we add new features or third-party services that involve cookies or tracking, we will update this policy and — where legally required — implement a consent mechanism before those tools load. The current version is always published at this URL with its effective date noted above.
